The deck is smaller than other models I've tested however, it's still a comfortable fit for most users.
The Commercial 1250 will automatically adjust the speed and incline according to your optimal training zone using the SmartBeat wireless chest band (sold separately). This feature is known as ActivePulse and is one of the reasons I love the 1250 over similar treadmills in this price range.
The treadmill also comes with iFit programming, which includes a large collection of workouts and video with elite athletes and coaches. The iFit program also provides guided runs that can take you to locations like Patagonia. The treadmill can still be used if you don't want to use iFit. However, you won't be able to get the automatic adjustments or immersive training experiences.
The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 requires a large area to operate and is quite heavy for a foldable machine. It is easy to move however, and the treadmill comes with an extended warranty of 10 years. The warranty is longer than other treadmills in this price.
3. iFit 1250 Folding Treadmill
With its ability to automatically adjust the speed and incline the treadmill provides one of the most enjoyable iFit experiences out there. With iFIT, you get access to a variety of workouts on demand, led by top trainers and spanning the world. The 1250 Folding treadmill also features a 10-inch HD touchscreen. It can pivot and tilt to allow you to follow iFIT without having to press buttons. The screen is positioned at a comfortable height for me, and it is easy to navigate. You can easily listen to your trainer with built-in 2 2-" speakers or plug in your own Bluetooth headphones to fully immerse yourself and keep focus. If you're running, the iFit 1250 Folding Treadmill also has an AutoBreeze fitness fan that is built-in to keep your cool while you work out.
You can train on any terrain by using the 12 slope and three decline settings. The Commercial 1250 has 1.9-inch rollers, which are not as big as those on the Peloton Treadmill, but they should be fine for most runners and walkers.
The ActivePulse technology for tracking heart rate is another amazing feature of the iFit 1250. This technology automatically adjusts your speed and incline during your workout to maintain your ideal heart rate zone (requires the SmartBeat chest band, which is not included). The iFit retails for $1999, which is less than the Peloton Treadmill and still provides an exceptional experience. You'll have access to a huge library of workouts and the iFIT community coaches who will inspire you to keep running.
4. iFit 1250 Plus Treadmill
This treadmill is equipped with iFit, allowing users to follow along online exercises or participate in live studio classes. This is a feature not offered on other treadmills and it's a great method of getting the most benefit from your workouts. The console shows your workout stats, including time, speed and distance. It also tracks your heart rate.
